Exhibition at Dark Room Gallery

I have good news to share as two of my images will be exhibited in the Dark Room gallery in Vermont, USA. It is a group exhibition with monochromatic images by artists from all over the world 

Report from our school in Kibera

  We are happy to be informed that a small help we sent at our beloved school in Kibera, Kenya has been well received and the children are happy. Following is the letter – report I received from the guardian angel of the kids, the remarkable gentelman George Jarona. A big thanks to all the teachers for their great efforts to educate the kids, the future leaders of Africa as George says. And a big thanks and appreciation to George Jarona whose professionalism and attention has made all these possible. 

Our love and kisses goes to the angels of Kibera. We miss you all!

The Masai typology

The Masai typology is an open-ended project that started on my last trip to Tanzania 6 months ago.

Marmot Halo 4p tent. First impressions.

In our last trip in Pindos mountain our shelter of choice for four nights was the Marmot halo 4p tent. We did not experience any rain (only slight) but we had low temperatures and the last day when the temp dropped at 0 degrees Celsius  we had ice covering everything. The tent is listed as a three season tent but it held its own with no problem whatsoever.

Masters Cup nominations

I was happy to receive an email accompanied with the following press release from Photography Masters cup.

Meteora. The color take.

I had to send some photos to TPOTY  competition in the category of “natural elements”. They did not allow photos that had previously won any kind of prize in other international competitions so my black and white images from Meteora had to be excluded. Therefore I decided to work some images of this series in color.

The Metéora (Greek: Μετέωρα, “suspended rocks”, “suspended in the air” or “in the heavens above” – etymologically similar to “Meteorite”) is one of the largest and most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece.
